Banasthali Vidyapith, the world’s largest all women fully residential university, was founded in 1935, by eminent freedom fighters and educationist Pt. Hiralal Shastri, the first Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Smt. Ratan Shastri honoured with Padma Bhushan by President of India and honoured with Jamnalal Bajaj award for her service to the cause of women’s education. The University has more than 15000 students from all parts of the country at its 950-acre campus amidst rural settings and the same Gandhian values.

The 2 Programs offered by the Incubation Centre at Banasthali are as follows:
WE Sprint - Women Entrepreneur Sprint is an accelerator program for fledging startups who are looking for capital, mentoring and structural resources to scale up. Startups will be provided support for the further development of MVP, designing marketing strategies, prospective scale-up plans, getting funding support and best mentors from the industry.
WOMEN Preneur - An Incubation Program for aspiring women entrepreneurs that aims to facilitate the creation of a community of innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, grant bodies and mentoring support. The incubation program seeks to nurture start-ups at all stages including student start-ups.
Being aware of the fact that women face different challenges while venturing into the startup space, Incubation Centre at Banasthali is developing a 'women-friendly culture' and creating a 'women entrepreneurs network' for facilitating collaboration among women entrepreneurs from different walks of life.
