Covid Relief Seed Grant

Government of Rajasthan has been undertaking several initiatives to hand hold and support the startup community. To provide impetus to startups of ecosystem seed stage funding is an early investment which aims at helping a Startup grow and generating its own capital.

In Budget announcement 2021-22, seed fund has been announced by Hon’ble Chief Minister to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the State of Rajasthan as Special Covid package. This fund is to be established for providing financial support to Startups for the period of 1 year through iStart program.

Eligibility Criteria for Startups

The eligibility criteria for a Startup to apply for Covid Relief Seed Grant shall be as follows:-

Startup should be iStart Registered Startup
Covid Relief Seed Grant will be provided without any discretion in the area of startups registered on the iStart Portal based on the QRate Ranking in Bronze category.
This Covid Relief Seed Grant shall be disbursed in the form of one-time grant.
iStart Approved Startups have the option on their dashboard to apply for Covid Relief Seed Grant.
DoIT&C/ RISL would have all the rights to approve / Reject the proposal for Seed Grant to the Startup.

Please Note

Startups shall not have any pending dues with DoIT&C or any of the Government agencies and shall not be blacklisted by any Govt. agency in India – a Self-Declaration shall be taken in this regard from the Startup and if found in-correct the Startup shall be liable for penal action
Covid Relief Seed Grant will be provided without any discretion in the area of startups registered on the iStart Portal based on the QRate Ranking in Bronze category.
